Taking orders…
Wednesday, March 17th, 2010

For stories, that is. I love it when readers tell me they’d like to see a story about a guy and girl who…

Yeah, and I’ve written a few custom stories like that. It’s fun and challenging to take input and then craft something special and unique. So, if you had a writer willing to take suggestions, what sort of story are you dying to read? Tell me, and you might see it in print.

So be creative. Or just have fun. Sometimes the most off-the-wall ideas make the most interesting stories because then the writer has to think a bit about how something like that might actually happen.

You would have laughed if you’d seen me this morning, standing on the back porch watching two dogs, butt-to-butt, getting it on. My life. The 5-year-old is off at school, and I’ll be writing my fingers to the bone while I have some quiet time (if the 1-year-old cooperates).

I actually have a scenario that I tried to write myself about a sex therapist who is a virgin … haven’t been able to do any research on a certain online therapy tool my sister-in-law (who is a therapist) told me about. Might have to dig out my notes and send it to you, you would do the story justice!

I will, give me a bit so I can find the link to the website that started my brain rolling. Gotta get with my SIL cause I can’t find it anymore. And yes, I know you’d do a great job with it. I don’t think I’m cut out for writing erotics but I’d love to read this one!

I have shown my love of fairy lore and paranormal romance stories that focus on the fae. I think too many of these stories tend to pair a fae with a mortal/ human.

I think it would be interesting to do a story about a fairy changelking and a fairy raised in the realm of fairy.

I had polio as a child and walk with forearm crutches. Being a bit self absorbed, my suggestion is related.

I would love to see a story where the female is presented as a strong kick-ass heroine who just happens to be what the rest of the world considers disabled. She would be intelligent, devious and crafty, with her disability making her more of a heroine rather than less. She would use the biases and misperceptions of others to her advantage. And, of course, the fact that she is horny and sexy and that the right men aren’t at all deterred by her scars would go without saying.

    Thanks for asking.

Wesley! You know the fae story is coming!

Donna! I can so picture a woman whose home is invaded, who calls the cops, but when they arrive, they find her beating the snot out of the intruder with her crutches. Of course, I’d need an expert consultant. 😉
