Best Cover Ever
Monday, May 23rd, 2011

Do you agree? This was the first draft the designer gave me. “Let me know what you don’t like,” she’d said in the email. There wasn’t one thing I didn’t like. The cover captures the tone of the story perfectly. I’m sharing it today to let you know that tomorrow, I’ll be working on uploading the book to Amazon, Nook, All Romance and Smashwords. It will likely take a day or two for the story to be live, but what better things do you have to do than hit the refresh key? 😆

One night of pleasure…

His name is Viper—a dark mysterious enigma who rules the seedy, dangerous vampiric underworld. For one night, he will escape his murky prison and tempt an innocent.

…can last a lifetime…

Beautiful Mariah haunts him. Lures him from his den with a glimpse of his past. One she doesn’t remember. This night, he’ll be her dream lover. He’ll seduce her, make her fall in love with him—then leave her. Again.

One night of pleasure is all they must know.

The cover is gorgeous. I love the whole woodsy background scene and how it depicts the whole innocence theme. Love it, I wouldn’t change a thing. 🙂

Cyndi! Thanks. The same designer who did Moonstruck did this cover. She has just the right touch.

Christina! It’s to share! I know I’ll be printing it to post on my board soon as the starting point for the sequel.

Becky! Thanks so much. I’ll let April know you like her work! 🙂

Tammy! How could you not?! The cover is worth the price even if the story sucks. But it doesn’t!!

Ilona! I know. Anything I could have said would likely have ruined it.

Rhonda! Well, if you know anything about the story, it perfectly catches that innocence.

    Nichelle! Thanks, lady!

😥 Dang, I missed the chat. It’s been a crazy night.
I love this cover. The first time I saw it, I just stopped and really studied it. It’s lush, if you know what I mean.

I love the cover!! And I’m super happy that you’re telling Viper’s story. I just finished reading Moonstruck and was hoping to read more about Viper and Mariah… woohoo!!
