Quick Question…
Friday, October 14th, 2011

This is just a fly-by to remind you that all the contests posted this week are still running. So be sure to take a look, visit the sites I’ve been, and post a comment here!

I’d stick around but I ferried the older ladies around on an studio art tour this morning and am heading to my dd’s now. She had surgery yesterday and needs a little TLC from mommy.

Forget about soft sounds like babbly brooks, gentle showers,
and warbling birds. What is your favorite loud sound?

I love a good loud thunder storm and when my nieces and nephews are being loud and playing in the pool, cause it means they are happy and having fun. And believe me, 5 of them ages 4 to 17 (along with my brother who is 34 going on 12, lol) they get LOUD!

when your in the hockey arena and your team captain scores the games winning goal in a shootout. the rafters shake. your face turns purple from yelling. you’re high-fiving strangers all around you. its a sudden rush of endorphins and a collective release. experienced it once. a roar to remember. nothing else comes close as far as decibel level/excitement.

I’m there with so many of you—I love the crack of lightning/thunder. I also get goosebumps listening to coyotes “singing” together at night.

A gun shot…I am a hunter and I love to go hunting. Some of those can get really loud. B-)

I also love to blare my stereo in my car. Especially if it has a really great beat that I can get into.

I hope the RHH feels better SOON! Hugs to you all.

For fave loud sounds…. Hmm, first, I would have to say thunder storms. I never experienced a storm back north in MA as I have down here in GA. HORRENDOUS at times! But still awesome.

One other really fave loud sound….. Ram Jam’s song Black Betty set at about 40 on my receiver with the base set high. Hearing the thump of the base and the drums, you just HAVE to dance!
