A Winner, A New Contest, and a Question…

A Winner!

IMG_3937I forgot all about this! So sorry! For my defense, I have been a little busy. Still am. If you saw yesterday’s post, you have an inkling why. 🙂

Anyway, I used a random number generator to pick the day and the winner’s name. The lucky winner gets one handmade (by me!) “Night Crow” pendant with black leather cord necklace. I painted and inked it, then threw in some crumbles of silver leaf. It’s very pretty and dark.

From Tuesday, April 23rd, the winner is…Teresa Hughes! Teresa, congratulations!! Send me an email with your snail mail address, and I will get your pendant into the mail!

A Brand New Contest

Let’s make this super easy. Since I have so many books coming out in June, I’ll help one reader with her book budget!

What can you win? An Amazon gift card worth $20!

Amazon Gift Card

What do you have to do to win? Simple. Comment on my blog—on any posting, from now thru May 30th! I’ll choose a winner at random from among all the comments. Good luck!

A Question

My DVR is filled to bursting with shows I’ve taped and hope to have time to watch soon. Last night I watched the season finales for NCIS (love the very special Tony DiNozzo!) and NCIS: Los Angeles (you thought I’d love on LL, right? Oh he’s still  hot, but Marty Deeks is stealin’ my heart!).

Of course, both shows left us with maddening cliffhangers. What both shows also gave us were two long-time-coming kisses. Tony finally kissed Ziva—on the freakin’ forehead! Dang-it! But did you see Marty kiss Kensi? I wanted to see him grin afterwards, but I’m guessing he’ll be regretting the impulse in the new season when she puts him firmly back in “partner” status.

What about you? Are there any shows that are just killing you? Will Juliette ever fall back in love with her Grimm? Will Patrick Jane ever catch Red John? Have we really seen the last of Lena and H.G. in Warehouse 13?

OK, you probably should have put “spoiler alert”…but then again, I would have read it anyway. I’m an occassional NCIS:LA watcher, and have been tuning in more lately because I want…NEED….Deeks and Kensi together. Now that I know, I have to watch the latest episode, but will maybe skip next season so that in my mind they can end happily ever after.

Tony and Ziva are driving me crazy but if they end up together then the sizzling between will be gone and it won’t be the same. I haven’t watched NcIS: LA yet.

So excited about winning the necklace. I just emailed you my address.

I am hooked on Dallas and can’t wait to see what is happening there. I hope we get to find out what happens with Red John soon. I’m so ready for something to come to a head there.

    Have a great day!

Right now Im really into the new show Defiance which is on syfy on Monday nights and its a good thing it came on because Lost Girl is filming next season so I have to wait on that and Game Of Thrones only has 3 episodes left, but thats just at the time True Blood starts, though Charlaines last Sookie book got horrible reviews but the show has veered somewhat from her books anyway lol,but Ill be really sad when Game of Thrones goes on Hiatus,as for your books,I have so many, but I have so many that I have not read so I can promise if I win that certificate will be going for one of your books, specially since I missed you in KC due to a fall,I need some cheering up LOL zanarigrandma@gmail.com

I don’t watch many shows, but am loving Game of Thrones right now. There are only 3 episodes left and then my most favorite show will be coming on, TRUE BLOOD. I am dying to find out what happens on Game of Thrones. I have read the books, but wanna see how they pull it off. Plus Jon Snow. If you watch the show, you know what I mean.

I’m with you on NCIS and what was with Tony kissing Ziva on the forehead? Except I think they will stay in the friends category. I LOVED the kiss Marty planted on Kensi (except I still see him as Gunter in lederhosen from Beerfest every once in awhile). I think he wasn’t smiling because he didn’t get the response from Kensi that he’d hoped. Those two as well as Castle and Beckett, I think will move from friends to more. I want cute little Dr. Reid to find another love.

I am so behind on my TV watching. Been too busy reading books. Guess I will have to take a break and do some TV. These are all good, irritating cliffhanger type questions and I watch most of these shows. Hulu – here I come!

I can’t wait to see what happens on Revenge. This is such an awesome show. And tonight’s Arrow was awesome. Just waiting now to see Supernatural SF and Grey’s Anatomy tomorrow.

I am right there with you on both NCIS and NCIS LA. I also truly love Criminal Minds. My other weakness is on cable, Necessary Roughness, that one is gearing up to start a new season June 13th I think.

I want Ziva and Tony to get together but at the same time I agree that the sparks that fly will no longer be there if they do.

At least How I Met Your Mother finally showed who the mother is thanks to that yellow umbrella.
Castle could write anywhere, so he could move to D.C.
I like the friendships on NCIS and agree maybe for now they should stay that way.
Looking forward to Big Bang’s finale.

I use to read as a preteen to escape ..by escape I mean to dream bigger than the life I was dealt. Reading took me to places I could only dream of. Now as an adult, I read for relaxation and calmness after a hard day of work. Getting caught up in story lines where your minds eye can picture the story is the type of book that holds my attention. Just reading your samples makes me think your books are right up my alley!! Getting a Kindle for my birthday a couple of years ago has jumpstarted my love of reading again.
