A Question…
Thursday, September 12th, 2013

You know when you see that title on a blog that I have my head down writing and don’t have that much time to think!

The only news I want to make sure you know about is the fact Crescent Moon is now available in its entirety for download. Think mummies, Egyptian gods and New Orleans. They kinda go together, don’t they? 🙂

Have fun with the question. I can’t wait to see your answers.

If you could wave a fashion wand and bring back
any style  from the past, what would it be?

I would bring back the colonial times. I love the dresses the umbrellas and the corsets. I know it was a pain for them to wear but they were beautiful.

I would bring back jeans that actually come up above the hips, because I’m so tired of the girls nowadays that you worry if their pants are going to slip off… or you just feel badly for them because they REALLY need to go up a size or two so their body shape is better displayed…

That’s a little hard for me to decide which….. I love the Gatsby era and yet I love the Greasers era! Oh My other favorites are Egyptian styles and India’s beautiful Bollywood styles. And there’s also American Indians’ – truly admire their ways of life in giving and taking with animals n nature, everything they wear and eat are all from nature. So yea, I’m very ecletic as my tastes in music are same way. Last thing… styles for men to bring back… definitely the kilts/loinscloths and better fitted jeans to see those sexy asses!! Hate those baggy crap that are out there!

I guess I’d like the 50’s. Sheath dresses, matching hats and coats. Wearing gloves and stockings with garters. I think they all make you feel really feminine.

What fashion would I bring back? The one I wear. I do not follow the trends. I wear what strikes my fancy whenever. If I choose to wear a Victorian era gown, I do. (You should have seen my daughter and I rock the look a few years back.) I usually always wear some kind of long skirt. Do I need to bring something back? Not really. It is probably already in my closet. That being said, I do love the look of hats – from any era. Those big fancy hats from My Fair Lady. The little bill box that Jackie wore. Any hat. I love the look, but do not look good in a hat nor to I have the room for more than a cowboy hat. Where did they keep all those hats?

I am so not into clothes. Right now is pretty near perfect for me, tennis shoes, pants and comfortable pull on tops.

First I would like to stay that I loved Crescent Moon, tamer than most of yours, but still had steam and the storyline was great and I will be saying so when I review it this weekend, but as to your clothes question, though I love clothes from the Victorian Era because they were so incredible beautiful, they were a pain to get on and off,so I think I would rather be a time like the 1200’s where clothes were simple just a top and bottom and thats it!! Though to be honest with all the different fashions out today you can wear pretty much anything you want than can look like they are from any era LOL

I love the Roaring 20’s and the Kennedy years. I love dresses that can move and I love wearing hats.
