Remember this book?

Cowboy Lust Trading Card Front Side

Based on Cowboy Lust‘s success, Cleis Press asked me to put together another anthology of sexy cowboy love stories—Cowboy Heat! If you’re on Facebook and Twitter, you may already know the lineup of stories, but if you’re not, here it is!

Mrs. Morgan and the Marshal – Emma Jay
Remember – Mia Hopkins
Cowboy Downtime – Cheyenne Blue
Coming Home – Megan Mitcham
Her Captured Cowboy – Layla Chase
Back Stage Pass – Cynthia D’Alba
Unfinished Business – Cat Johnson
At the Mercy of the Cowboy – Amber Lin
Cowboy Adonis – Michael Bracken
Denim and Lace – Robie Madison
One Track Cowboy – Delilah Devlin
Skin Deep – Randi Alexander
Drop Two Tears in a Bucket – Shoshanna Evers
A Cowboy for Delilah – Sabrina York
Shall We Dance? – Myla Jackson

I’m excited about this book! As soon as I know when it will be released, I’ll be sure to let you know!

I’m busy this week writing a story about an ex-Marine who’s trying to save a woman who has been targeted by a drug cartel in Central America. It’s fun, a thrill ride, and verra, verra sexy! As soon as I post this blog, I’m diving back into the story, which I’ve entitled Dangerous Liaison!

So, here’s today’s question…

Say you won a contest and could choose any piece of jewelry you wanted,
regardless of cost, what would it be?

I would have to say a ring. I would love to have it with a Ruby in it. Or would love to have my kids gemstones in it with their names on it. Almost like a mothers ring.

Too remind me how crappy my ex treated me! 😉

I’m a sucker for silver and like Tanya’s idea about having birthstones for kids and grandkids.

Wow that question is tougher than you think….but after giving it lots of thought LOL…..I would love an emerald pendant surrounded by yellow diamonds hanging from a yellow and orange gold chain that has matching diamonds just as it reaches the pendant. (matching earrings and tennis bracelet would be nice too LOL)

I have a thing for jewelry. My last name is Stone, and when folks give me a questioning look, I say “as in GEM”. Big grins all around, the dorks! I’m serious and they think I’m joking.

I like colored stones (mom liked diamonds, not me). When I traveled, I collected loose stones and my trusty jeweler designed amazing pieces. I prefer unique jewelry as worn by Wilma Flintstone, not June Cleaver. IOW: understated, striking, and bold. If I won a contest, I’d wish for a pendant: either a black opal, a black pearl, or a simple yellow diamond. I like simple SW styles as well, but not the busy ornate designs.

Thanks for letting my wax poetic on one of my passions.

I wear a lot of Indian jewelry since I live in Arizona. Mostly Navajo and Hopi rings and necklaces. I recently saw a necklace that was exquisite and very costly. I would love to have it and would wear it a lot.

Sneaky girl. I was wondering if that was your plan.

I love amber. I collect silver and amber; if you make/have amber jewelry I am very interested. I particularly like green amber and the darker ambers, Celtic styles, and Wiccan styles. 🙂

I would want a silver heart shape diamond dolphin ring that I saw awhile back. I like dolphins.
    or Purple and Celtic styles.

    I loved Cowboy Lust.

I am a big Star Trek Fan and I would love an IDIC necklace with a real diamond and not a fake one as the focal point. It would be nice if the metals in it were more expensive ones also. (IDIC has a circle, a triangle with stone at the top of it within the circle.)

My boss brought me an evil eye bracelet from Istanbul. I told him to bring me back something pretty…and he DID!! It has diamonds and sapphires. I would love another one for my niece as a graduation gift from college. The girl is going to be a neurosurgeon. (I’m not a proud auntie or anything.)

I am not one for expensive jewelry – all of my favorite pieces are quirky and inexpensive, but they mean something to me – either because of who or where they came from, or because they make a statement (I would totally love the IDIC necklace an earlier poster mentioned 🙂 ). So if I won the competition, I would travel around until I found the piece that spoke to me. Maybe heavy silver from a souk in Oman, or bright twisted fabric from Africa, or amber from the Baltic.

The jewelry would be inexpensive, but as the prize would include the travel to pick it out… It could end up more expensive that diamonds. 😉
