HOW TO ENTER DELILAH DEVLIN’S SUMMERTIME CONTEST
1. The contest runs through July 6th. The three top prizes will be announced on July 8th, 2009. To enter, you must do two things!
2. First, copy the code (click on ’SHARE’) of the graphic above and post it to your blog, Facebook, Myspace, Website, or wherever you want to share it. Add a link to my blog from your blog, Facebook, MySpace, wherever you put the graphic, and say “Click here to enter DELILAH DEVLIN’S SUMMERTIME CONTEST“. You may use a smaller version of the graphic, if you prefer, for one of your sidebars. Just change the height and width in the code to “180″ by “150″.
3. Come back to this post and post a link to your blog entry or wherever you’ve posted the graphic, and your answer to the following question: If the worlds you enter when you read a romance could come true, would you take a walk on the wild side with a vampire, a werewolf or a sexy cowboy? Tell me why.
If you don’t have a blog, or if you are having difficulty posting, you can still enter the contest. Here’s what you can do:
~ Blog about the SUMMERTIME CONTEST on your Facebook, MySpace page or post about it in a yahoo group. Just leave a comment about where you posted it and provide a link.
~ No Facebook, MySpace or group? Then get creative. Share the contest with two friends, and leave a comment about who you told. Tell your book club about the book and the contest. This will have to be on the honor system.
The whole point of the contest is to get the word out about my two upcoming releases, DARKNESS BURNING and TEMPTED BY A COWBOY, so if you can convince me in some way that you did that, you’re in!
4. Don’t forget, no matter how you spread the word, be sure to leave a comment with links and information, and answer the “who would you take a walk on the wild side with” question. If you have not entered correctly, you will not be in the final drawing, so please follow the instructions.
5. The three top prizes will be given away on July 8th. Everyone who enters the contest correctly will be in the running for those prizes as well as many other prizes that will be announced on my blog as I run through the countdown. Authors are eligible to win as well!

Can I take multiple trip and take a walk in the wild side with all of them. It doesn’t have to be at the same time. I’d be happy to do a bit of traveling. 😉
All of them would be a great adventure I think. Though I think my biggest draw is between vampire and cowboy. Hell I’m so white I might fit the nighttime life of the vampire better. Out and about with a cowboy and I’d be burnt to a crisp in seconds. 🙄

As for the question, I’m gonna have to go with the sexy cowboys. Vamps are out because I faint at the sight of blood, and as a dog owner, getting busy with a werewolf would be way too weird. So, cowboys it is…Giddy-Up, LOL.
Now I just need to learn how to ride a horse 😉

If I had to choose between a Vamp, werewolf and sexy cowboy I’m not sure which I would choose – they each have something to offer.
Vamps are super sexy and very hot but they can’t go out in the daylight, eat, and the whole blood thing is yucky!!
Werewolves are hot and strong and all alpha but they have the whole getting hairy thing going on.
I guess I would take a good old fashioned sexy cowboy in the end.

Can I walk on the wild side with all of them? Who’s better looking, the vampire or the werewolf? If I had to choose one it would be a vampire. I’ve had a strange attraction to them for as long as I can remember. Plus I’m a night owl so I don’t need the sun.

Okay, I’m a doofus. I forgot to answer the question. After much deliberation, I’d pick a sexy cowboy. You can only walk with your vamp at night which is a bummer and a werewolf would have one or two nights a month where they probably wouldn’t be safe to be out with. So for those reasons, a cowboy’s my best bet.

I’d have to say a sexy cowboy–don’t get me wrong I love me a good vampire or werewolf romance, but in reality? Hoo boy the problems! For one I am so anti-blood its not even funny–forget worrying about being immortal, the thought of a guy sucking on my neck (no matter how pleasurable) for my blood makes me ill. For another I’m allergic to practically every kind of hair, fur or pelt you can think of so unless the wereanimal of my dreams is also hypo-allergenic, let’s forget about getting too close to each other!
A cowboy though? Well now they’re like as charming as can be (in romances at least) and have that sweet twang and look awfully good shirtless.
