NaNo Day 25:
Viking-2—0 words
TW—0 words 😥

Like a lot of you, I have company underfoot from out of town and children crawling all over me because school’s out. Today, the adults are going shopping! Yeah, I got talked into it. Thankfully, they aren’t keen on going to the malls. We’ll head into Hot Springs and troll the long downtown strip. It’s always fun. I’ll see if I can find anything to tick off my Christmas list.

Yesterday and today will be busts so far as word count toward NaNo and wrapping up the Viking book, but I have the weekend ahead of me. I won’t crawl out of my mole hole (what everyone refers to as my office) until next week.

In the meantime, I have a question for you to ponder…

If you lived on a farm, which chores above all chores,
would you definitely not want to do?

Mucking the stalls is definitely the grossed job on the farm but you really do get used to the smell. It’s not really a chore but I refuse to put an animal down when they get hurt or something happens, I just can’t do it.

Mucking out the stalls is definitely on the list. The other would be choosing the animals to go to market. I’d probably name them all and then wouldn’t be able to send them.

Have fun shopping. I went to Target and Wal-Mart this morning and was home by 5:30 am. Not bad.

Can this be a multiple choice question? I need to know what my options are. lol

I really have no idea since I’ve never really been on a farm to know what needs to be done. But I’m sure anything that’s before 0500 would be a bust for me.

Here, where I live, there are farms all over. For me the worst chore is harvesting the animals (even though our turkey was delicious).
