“Dress Elvis” contest!
Thursday, February 24th, 2011

I still have a prize to give away to one lucky winner that I bought at one of Graceland’s shops. It’s an Elvis dress up doll! You know—a magnetic paper doll thingie that you can stick to a white board, a filing cabinet or a fridge! Yes, Elvis, with several changes of clothes—and his dog! Woohoo! *throws confetti*

So, if you’d like a chance to win it, post a comment on my blog. And if you’d like more than one chance (who buys just one lottery ticket?!), post tomorrow and Saturday too! On Sunday morning, I’ll announce the winner!

Just so you have something to post a comment about, here’s a question for you…

What is your biggest pet peeve?

Hmmm, Elvis, too cute. It’s been a while since I’ve been by, deadlines are a pain. lol. I’m sure you know exactly what I’m talking about. Let’s see, biggest pet-peeve:
People who promise something, but don’t deliver. I’d rather not have the promise.
Thanks D! Have a great day!

    Hi Delilah,

Well, my biggest pet peeve is when someone lights up in a No Smoking area! Grrrrrrrrrrr!!! 😈 Makes my blood boil! LOL! Of course, I’m a non-smoker, but it gets me every time when people don’t take into consideration other people’s health. I have allergies & I can’t breath when I smell smoke (actually anykind of smoke) & it always makes my skin burn & my throat closes up. One day, I went to the movies & some lady started smoking in the row in front of me. Then she gets mad because I told the attendant & she first changes seats & sits next to me (obviously she was going to do something evil)……then when I switched seats she waited for the movie to end & she filled her pop cup with who knows what & came back & poured it out at me! Can you imagine? Well, she didn’t hit me, but she got some people in front of me. I sure hope it wasn’t filled with pee, Anyway, that’s my pet peeve. LOL! 🙄

My biggest peeve is drivers who don’t give turn signals or who stop suddenly without warning and you have slam on your breaks to keep from hitting them.

The people at work who leave no coffee in the pot and won’t turn it off or make another pot. I don’t drink coffee (I can’t have caffeine) and somehow I can ntoice the pot is empty and still on. It’s bugging me big time today.

I would love the Elvis. My movies could sit next to him on the shelf.

Does Elvis’ dog come with a change of clothes too. Like with a little Elvis outfit.

I guess I can’t think of a pet peeve right now. I know I have them but it changes out with the situation or mood.

LOL! So many pet peeves! I can see teeth gnashing, faces screwing up into scowls. Scary! I’m a little like Brandy. No one thing that makes me nuts, except when I’m driving and someone speeds up to pass me, then slows down.

My biggest pet peeve is – “Wait Mom, I got this one. I do know pets better. Hi ya, Missy here. Mom’s biggest pet peeve is 😈 me eating her porch, taking out the bushes, and playing in the mud and when I come inside shaking it all off. 👿 How was that?”

Back to time out Missy, close but no treats this time. I’d have to say it’s – “Are you gonna say something about men? 😉 I like them.” (Shut up Missy) Loosing my mind to the dog!!! 😆

Not answering the phone and letting the machine take a message; annoys the heck out of me.

Even if I don’t win this, I must own it. My daughter is Elvis crazy and she would go crazy! My pet peeve…I have too many to list. But the first that comes is people who chew with their mouthes open. Gross!

The first pet peeve that came to mind was one of my grown kids (who no longer live at home) stopping at my house to do their “grocery shopping” when I’m not home. They usually end up taking something I have planned for dinner that night!

I can’t stand being late or others being late. That goes for everything but most of all work. I don’t understand why people can’t be on time for work. It’s your JOB don’t you need money? It also makes me sick if I can hear someone else eatting. I literally have to get up and leave.

Diane! Oops! I do that when I’m writing. I may be here, but not to talk!

Jeb B! Yeah, I can do without watching others chew their cuds!

Bridget! You let them “shop” your fridge?! Time to cut the apron springs, or put a lock on the fridge!

Kelly! You and my dd are so alike—and you have the same first name. 🙂
