Happy Holiday!

Did you find one of these under the Christmas tree? Me neither. 🙁

Here’s hoping you have a wonderful day, spent with family. The Devlin house opened the adults’ gifts last night. This morning, the children come over for theirs. Then there will be Christmas dinner—ham and smoked turkey. All in all, a lovely lazy day.

    Merry Christmas!!

    Wow, I am sorry Santa didn’t leave him under my tree.

    My best gift ever – That’s tough, but I’m going to say the things my parents have given me through the years for my house. Things I wouldn’t have been able to afford, but sure were nice (like the circuit box and breakers to replace the fuses in my first house).

    The worst gift – Nothing springs to mind, but maybe the banana bread a friend made me which I wouldn’t even try. She has always let her cats walk all over her counters, table, and plates, and I just couldn’t eat anything she made after that.

    Ewww! Lisa, I have a cat—and outdoor cat. The thought of cat feces spread on top of my counter… Blech!

    Wish I had found him under my tree, but I didn’t.

    I don’t ever remember getting a worst gift. I have always gotten nice things from my family. The best I would say would be the money – who can go wrong with that. When you get money for Christmas you can get what ever your heart desire with a limit of course depending on how much money you get.

    Enjoy your lazy day, I know I will with mine. Hope you and your family have a great Christmas Delilah.

    No worst gifts? You’re lucky. I remember getting something I’d given to someone a couple years before. Same gift, still with the tags on it. LOL! I loved it even if she didn’t!

    Merry Christmas! I didn’t receive the hottie either.

    I don’t know if I have received bad presents; mine are either useful (bathroom rug set, including toilet seat cover) or re-giftable (almost everything else). I pnce was given a set of books I’ve already read before but those were re-gifted years later.

    Wow, would have loved to get this one under my tree…or me…lol.
    Worst gift…umm that would be a jar of something brown…not sure if it’s supposed to be cocoa or some kind of mix but it had no tag telling me what it was or how to use it, ingredients, nothing. So it’s sitting on a shelf in my pantry..don’t know why I didn’t just throw it out..guess somewhere in my mind I thought it’s a waste of food…lol.
    Best…the Christmas before my eighteenth birthday (which is the 15th of January), my Dad gave me a huge box with lots of mess in it but hidden inside was a little box with keys in it. He had gotten me a CAR! I was so surprised and excited! Best gift ever!
