Winners, a Contest, and a Question!
Tuesday, December 27th, 2011

Yes, today I’ll name two winners, but just not yet. Don’t you know patience is a virtue?

I had some very nice news on Christmas day, an extra present I didn’t expect. Ravished is nominated for The Romance Studio’s CAPA awards for best historical novel… Okay, so any of you who have read that particular book know it’s “Vikings in Space”, not historical, but I’m okay with that. A nom is a nom! Squee!

* * * * *

Since two contests are winding down, I have to get something else off my hoarding shelf. (See that, sis? Can too bear to part with treasures!)

The Fairy Trinket Box Contest

What do you have to do to win?
Post a comment—here or on my Facebook FAN page. And post every day the contest runs for additional chances to win!

This contest lasts until January 3rd, so there are plenty of chances to enter!

For those of you who will no doubt ask, the box comes from Christi’s Gifts & Consignments, 870-230-1877. And yes, she can order more!

How about a question to start you off?

What DON’T women want?

So back to those winners…

Thanks so much to everyone who participated in both contests.
The winner of the Baby Dragon Incense Burner is…Julie Swaney!
The winner of the Promo Ho contest and the $25.00 gift certificate is…Michelle Bauer!
Congratulations, ladies! Thanks for playing. Be sure to send me an email
to arrange delivery of your prizes.

I think the biggest thing women don’t want are liars…that breaks trust and you can never fully trust again. 🙁

Women don’t like significant others who lie by omission or try to hide things. Be up front and let us know when you do something we know we won’t like!

Congratulations Delilah. also congrats to the winners of the contests. the fairy box is gorgeous.

i have a big list of what we don’t want so i just go with the top 5.

    1)don’t abuse us
    2)don’t lie to us
    3)don’t cheat on us
4)get and keep a GOOD job(helping friends fix a car is not a job)
5)don’t make promises you have no intention of keeping, a man’s word should be what he strives to live up to, not something to give as lightly as change for a dollar.

Very nice box. The details are really pretty along with the colors.
I agree with what others have said about what a women does not want….cheater, liar, beater..someone who is lazy.
I would not want someone who had to control me 24/7. I do like my freedom and space.
    thanks for the contest.

Beautiful box. I don’t know if I could part with it.

Women want a man who actually pays attention, so forget inattentiveness and not paying attention.

A man that doesn’t respect your feelings. All we want is a man who will LISTEN when we talk. Simple. Just listen to us. We aren’t asking for the world, guys. A little quality-time spent listening to your wife or girlfriend.

    Congrats Delilah on the nomination!
