I am woefully behind on mailings—something I promise to remedy this weekend. Here that, assistant? She’s grumbling, because I have a stack of things for her to prepare for mailing. All of which means, I’m reluctant to pull something cool from my promo gifts stash for a new contest. Whatever I do has to be something emailable (is that a word?!). Satisfied with my choice?

The Salem witch trials. I would like to be a voice of reason, but as a woman I know that would be highly unlikely.

Good morning! If I were to serve on a jury trial it would have to be United States v O. J. Simpson. I believe that would be a very interesting trial. 😛 😆

OJ’s trial. It would have been interesting to be in the courtroom as a juror instead of watching it at home on tv.

I would like to be a juror on the Lindbergh kidnapping case. Since forensics were not available, I would like to see how the wood from the ladder and the handwriting were traced to the suspect, Bruno Hauptmann.

OJ’s trial was interesting. I knew that would draw some votes. For me, I might have liked to sit on the jury during the Lindbergh’s baby kidnapping/murder trial. The rush to justice to convict Hauptmann, the mishandling and destruction of evidence, make me think the killer/kidnapper was someone much closer to home.

There’s a few I would have liked to be around for. The Amistad trials, The Lindbergh case has always fascinated me, & the Manson trial.

I would choose Galileo’s trial, because it seems like science and religion are still perceived to be at odds and no one ever expects the Spanish Inquisition:)

Hmm, I don’t think I would want to serve on any juries that involve gore and violence. Maybe trials of the folks who are price fixing gas prices or something like that or the trial for those crooks in the Ponzi schemes.

I would probably go for a case where children was hurt, but I am not sure which one, because they all deserve justice.

Either Lizzie Borden’s trial or the one for Charles Manson. OR any of his cohorts. They intimidated some jurors at the time and I have to say..would SO not work on me.
