I spent yesterday doing girl stuff with my daughter. After I posted my blog, I got up from the keyboard and didn’t plug in again until late last night. Then I opened my email, saw 259 new messages, and quickly left my desk again to watch TIVO’d episodes of Golden Boy. (I’m not sure about that show yet…)
But I’m back today. I have to work on getting the Cowboy Heat anthology pulled together. Then I have to dive into editing the stories I have tentatively chosen. No, authors, I can’t tell you who made the first cut just yet. I don’t like doing that until I know Cleis approves my choices.
So I’m going to have a busy day. I’m also going to pull out a suitcase and start packing for Kansas City! I’m going to the RT conference next week. If anyone out there is going, be looking for me! I’d love to meet you!
Since I won’t be relaxing today, I’m thinking about it, wishing I could curl up on my big overstuffed chair and watch a movie. Maybe Timeline so I can watch Gerard Butler give his girl that poignant kiss (one of the best movie kisses ever—you can see them falling in love!). Here’s my question…
What is your favorite position and place you like to be when you relax?

I too have a big comfy chair where i keep a nice soft throw so when i curl up to watch tv I’m always warm.

I enjoy falling asleep on the Sofa in front of the family TV (though I never actually watch it) laying on it like a bed.

Either on my recliner or the loveseat with a book in one hand and the other in the fur of one of my cats.

I feel the most relaxed when I am at the barn with the horses. They have a way of easing the tension of daily life with a simple nudge of their head on my shoulder 🙂 Just sitting back and watching my daughter ride is very calming……bonus points for the days that the hubby is also there!

I like with to curl up in my overstuffed recliner with a blanket over my legs, a glass of sweet tea and a book in my hand. That is my place for after a long day of work. Sigh…wish I was there now.

I find I can relax anywhere with a book 😀 Mostly though I prefer to be sat in my comfy chair with my hubby watching TV across the room 😀

I have a half-sofa that raises my legs. Cover myself with an afghan, my one dog Sunday cuddles in and sticks her nose under the blanket. I have my kindle and a wine-cooler and I am set. 🙂
