I was asked how this story happened. A few months ago, I received an email from an acquisitions editor at Ellora’s Cave, saying she had visited my website, was impressed, and wondered if I had any books in the pipeline that I could submit. After I picked myself up off the floor 😉 I re-read the email, and decided it must be spam. But a quick check of the editor’s name online showed me that she was indeed one of EC’s editors, and the request was real. The only un-contracted work I had available was a short piece that I had written in response to a friend’s challenge to create a male strip-tease scene. It featured a female dominant, which I (incorrectly) assumed Ellora’s Cave would not want. I mentioned the story in my reply, and was surprised to get a request to read it. I had a contract three days later. I’ve always believed that fortune favors the prepared. Seems to me, this story shows it’s true.

I love when the roles are reversed an it is the male that is the sub! Thank you for the blurb and telling us about yourself, Kayelle, I loved it!

Thank you for hosting me today, Delilah!

NJ, glad you enjoyed that. 🙂

Kimberly, that was what I was going for. A real reversal. The older heroine is something I relate to. My husband is an entire 3 days younger than I am. ^_^
