A Question…
Saturday, February 1st, 2014

No guest, just me. Today, I’m going to spend a little time updating my monthly goals and schedule, and then it’s right back into the two projects I’m trying my best to finish up. So without further ado, here’s your question…

Say you won a national contest and the prize was a personal, twenty-minute
concert from the artist of your choice, who would you choose?

Psst! Remember, Sasha’s contest from yesterday, is still open! Three books to three separate winners!

Who I want to see again up close is Bob Seger. That man can still rock after all these years.

It’s a hard choice, but I’m going to say Robert Plant & Jimmy Page. 😉 If I get a second choice I’ll say Arctic Monkeys. My list can go on & on. I have eclectic music taste, but at heart I’m a metal head. 😈

I love a crooner…..Josh Groban and Michael Buble are faves but a little young for me for a one-on-one. Harry Connick Jr fits the bill just fine!

Harry Connick Jr. We used several of his songs for special dances at our wedding 22 years ago LOL! We’ve seen him in concert a couple times & he is extremely entertaining! I know he’s probably getting a lot of popular press right now since he’s a judge on American Idol, but, like I said – long time fans!

My first choice is not an option because he is no longer with us (the great man himself, Mr. Stevie Ray Vaughn). So, even though I normally listen to a lot of heavier music than this, I think for a personal 20-minute concert I would have to go with Barry Manilow (believe it or not!)

WOW! That’s tough, I think it would have to be Luke Bryan, no wait, Zac Brown Band, or no Blake Shelton. I don’t know that is really tough.

Can I have two? Bob Seger and Kid Rock. I saw them in concert together last year in Minneapolis and it was the greatest thing ever. The encore was all duets of their four most populsr songs and it was awesome.

David Draiman is hot! Love Disturbed. I saw them live at House of Blues in Chicago. So close I could have touched his toes. 😈
