What flavor of short story collection next? Take a poll!
Tuesday, March 11th, 2014

With the release of Cowboy Heat next week and the upcoming releases of Sex Objects and Hot Highlanders and Wild Warriors, I need to start gearing up to present a fresh slate of ideas to my publisher.

Want to help me narrow the field? You tell me what you’d like to see next. Choose up to three options. And if you have an idea that isn’t listed here, leave a comment to tell me what you’d like to see!

What themes would you like to see featured in future collections?

  • Bad Boys -- bikers, rockers, tattooed bad boys, etc. (33%, 27 Votes)
  • Red Hot Wheels -- think 007’s Astin Martin, Fast & Furious, NASCAR drivers, illegal drag racing (19%, 16 Votes)
  • Love Everlasting -- paranormal stories that are “fresh”—not all vampires! (19%, 16 Votes)
  • Sports Heroes -- the hockey player, football player, etc. (10%, 8 Votes)
  • Small Town Love (10%, 8 Votes)
  • Celebrity Crushes (6%, 5 Votes)
  • New Adult -- young women in college or in their first job, finding their first loves... (4%, 3 Votes)

Total Voters: 42

Just wanted to drop you a note to let you know that I absolutely ADORE all these anthologies you put together for readers 🙂 !!! I used my 3 votes for bad boys, sports & red hot wheels. Wasn’t there an EMT in the firefighters one? I think that the anthologies that tie together are pretty fun, too – I read one set at the Winter Olympics that all carried the subject of a lucky charm through them. Another fun idea could be “geek love” – it’s always those quiet ones that surprise you LOL!

I love those anthologies as well, so please keep them coming! Those were some nice choices, but even I have to go with the Bad Boys. I like Snarky Mom’s idea about “geek love” too though. Decisions, decisions 😆

    So many great ideas!

I love these anthologies too. They are fun to write and let us “play” with all kinds of new authors!

    Thank you Delilah!

I love the Geek love story idea. That would be awesome.

Anthologies are great for finding new authors. That’s how I found you so many years ago. 😆

Loved your books for years. You wrote Sanctuary years ago and it was republished under the name, Undeniable. One of my all time fav’s. How about Diego’s book or others. This has the paranormal element and urban fantasy elements with orignal twists. I believed at one time you planned a series. I’d love to read Diego’s story even in a anthology. Hint, hint.

I like the medic idea. That would be a first for me on reading.
I love the alpha male types.
Toss in some BDSM also. 🙂

I went with the Bad Boys too!
Ditto the previous comments about the “geek-love” – one extreme to the other!
Reformed bad boy to a geek???
