Tell me a story… (Contest)

UPDATE: The winner is…Katherine!
*~*~*

HookHere’s a quick reminder that this story releases ONE WEEK FROM TODAY! It’s fun, fast, sexy–and features a disabled vet! If you haven’t yet ordered your copy, here’s where you do it: HOOK

I have an insane schedule to keep up with this week (finish a book, finish another author’s edits, clean my office!, clean the cat box!!), so today’s post is short, and you get to do all the work! To give you a teeny bit of incentive to play, I’m offering a prize. Have fun!

*~*~*

See the picture? I’m putting this pic out there for you to think about. You can offer a simple one-sentence idea or paint an entire paragraph of a story. Have fun with it. I won’t be judging your idea!!! I’ll choose one winner who can pick an ebook copy of any of my recent releases! Now, go!

Did she make a mistake in conjuring this demon?

Raised in the East, she had always known that the light came with the dark. The sun, the shadow. Good, and evil. She’d met shifters who lived with their beasts, communicated with them, worked with them. She was envious of those shaggy beasts. They didn’t have to fight for control. They didn’t have to pray that when the sun rose the next day they wouldn’t be covered in blood from an attack they didn’t remember.
They didn’t have to worry that the beast within would kill everything around you… in you.
If there was a way to cut out her other half, she’d do it in a heartbeat… but so far every time she’d tried to end her life, it took over. And when it did… it would punish her the only way it knew how, with blood and broken memories.

She wasn’t sure whether this was what she’d had in mind when she’d signed up for the free makeover.

Never in her wildest dreams did she think a woman’s touch would make her world tilt, but her African blood diamond princess did just that.

Wow! Some of y’all should be writing the story to go with this picture (Reina, Jennifer). Hope you enjoyed imagining!

The winner of her choice of one of my recent releases (obviously, not Hook!) is…Katherine!

Katherine! Send an email to me at Delilah@delilahdevlin.com with the title of your choice!
