My Valentine to you!

So, are you ready for Valentine’s Day? Have you purchased a card or a gift? I’ll be attending the five-year-old’s Valentines Day party at her school on Wednesday, and I’m so looking forward to it! We’ll probably also have a special family dinner, because we love any excuse to have a party or a dinner! Will you be doing anything special for V-day?

    Love the puzzle. Took me 6.3.

    As for Valentine’s Day, just another day at our house. When you’ve been married as long as we have (49 years in March) you’re just thankful for another day. I did get engaged on Valentine’s Day way back when so it is special, but not with candy, flowers, etc. We say I love you every single day and are enjoying our “golden” years the way we were meant to.

    But I do hope everyone out there has a fantastic Valentine’s Day and are able to spend it with the ones they love.

    Only took me 3:04, but them I love Jigsaw puzzles. I’ll be spending the mornign of Valentine’s getting a scan that I can’t remember the long name of but requires contrast and will be done in the nuclear medicine department. Will probably spend the rest of the day veggin’ on the couch and reading.

    OMG that took me FOREVER! I accidentally hit the rearrange button, plus I really don’t like puzzles… so it took me over 8 minutes.

    Embarrassed to say it took me 13:58 but in my defense, I haven’t done puzzles in YEARS! But it certainly was fun!

    For Valentine’s day the husband & I will have a nice home cooked dinner (by me) and a cake with frosting (by him)
    More then likely followed by a movie/fave tv show via Hulu! 17 years together and we try to make each one something to look back on.

    We remember being snowed in one faithful Valentine’s Day and were grateful we stocked up the place so I could cook us up something yummy. (We live in Vermont so here, the fridge and pantry are ALWAYS stocked!)
