Diana Cosby: Nature – Inspiration For The Muse (Contest)
Sunday, August 4th, 2019

UPDATE: The winner is…Linda!
*~*~*

©Diana Cosby 2019

I love crafting stories, and I trust my muse to give me inspiration to create characters, craft their story, and write their book.

I’ve discovered that my muse is most inspired during my walks through the woods as I enjoy the sights of nature.

Whenever I’m writing a scene and if I’m struggling with a story issue, I go for a walk. The peace and calm around me, the bird songs, and the beauty of the forest nurture my muse, and often I’m able to figure out what to write next.

After I finish a day of writing, I enjoy going out and savoring the beauty of nature around me to refill my muse.

Writing is an incredible and fun challenge, but I’m careful to take time to do things that help me relax, but most, to refill my muse.

What do you find most inspiring in nature?

I have to agree. Nature is both relaxing and inspiring. That’s one of the things I love about living in the country. I love unwinding after a long day taking a cold drink and book out to the dock of my pond and just sitting there letting the stress melt away as I watch the sun set.

I love watching birds too. I have bossy blue jays, sparrows, finches and the hummingbirds. It is calming to watch them go about their daily business. I enjoy Diana’s Facebook page and the adventures of her wildlife. Lovely photos.

I recharge by sitting in my garden, preferably with my kindle and something to drink, coffee, wine or water. Love this season when sitting outside is possible.
We have pidgeons in our garden too, and their noices are so soothing
Thanks for the giveaway and Happy Tuesday!

Hi, Ladies–great post–Best Wishes for all releases!!! My own appreciation of nature is amplified when I get to observe my pets react to the nature around them. My front porch is enclosed with a storm door so that my cats can sit on the porch and enjoy fresh air and spots of sunshine. A sassy squirrel recently sat on the railing outside the door and had quite a long chat with my three cats through the screen. They were captivated–never made a move or a sound!
