My Happy Flower
Wednesday, April 8th, 2020

I do have a guest scheduled for today, but she’s late! Or, I accidentally deleted her post—that has happened. Either way, I had a blank blog this morning, and that can’t happen. There must be order! (I’m saying that in my best Sergeant Schultz voice, and if you don’t know who that was, that’s just sad. 🙂 )

So, long story short (love that phrase!), sunflowers are my “happy flower”. All I have to do is see one and I want to smile. Don’t know why. They don’t have a lovely fragrance. They’re big and gangly. But they feel like a sunny day, don’t they?

What’s your “happy flower”?

I like Sunflowers too, but for some odd reason, the Pansy is my happy flower. Wonder why that is? 😀

    Yellow roses always make smile.
And being a Texan, well, it just seems appropriate.

I have 3 sunflowers growing in my yard! 🙂 My happy flower/ plant is the bleeding heart… my grandma always had them and they remind me of her!

I love lilacs and miss them since I moved to Florida. A co-worker, who retired about the same time I did, had her entire office covered with sunflower things. It was so bright and pretty. Sunflowers always remind me of her.

Flowers are so personal, aren’t they? Thanks for sharing, y’all!
