UPDATE: The winner of the Amazon gift card is…Brenda Rumsey!
*~*~*

IMG_8426

I bought this little brainstorming tool years ago at some writers’ conference. “Story Cubes” is a brainstorming game. You roll the dice and whatever pictures appear face-up are the ones you use to riff off a story. However, today, we’ll use the cubes to set goals for your New Year. Don’t take the challenge too seriously. Be as silly as you like. Have fun with this!

Here’s the roll…

Do any of these symbols tell you anything?
You can pick some or use all of them.
The prize, if you win this challenge, is a $5 Amazon gift card!

The KEY to HAPPYness is in deciding to finally write that BOOK I’ve always wanted to write. Quit being SHEEPish, because the CLOCK is ticking. There will be SHADOWS trying to stop you, but there is a RAINBOW at the end. The choice to be HAPPY or SAD is yours. Get off the PHONE and go for it.

The key to happiness is to read until 4PM everyday and stay off of your phone after that.

Put down your phone and take the time to look for rainbows when times are tough, enjoy movies and books, don’t let the scary things hold you back, let people into your life, be “warm” to others, and lastly, keep smiling.

Time is running out to make resolutions for 2021. I want to watch rainbows while reading a book, I want to unlock my inner drama and stress and let it out and I want to stop having electronics rule my life.

The key to a good year is no drama, not looking over my shoulder for trouble, pleasant dreams, plenty of books to read and hoping for time to move smoothly.

I have a mental block on this one! Usually I come up with a story right away. I got nothing.
