Today’s forecast was for thundershowers. The weather guy wasn’t wrong. We already had a two-hour power outage this morning due to lightning/rain/hail. No hail in our yard, so we lucked out. I’m still waiting for April to warm up. Most years, I take my first dip in the pool in mid to late April, but we haven’t had enough warm, clear weather for us to even clean the pool properly!
We’ll get there. In the meantime, I’ve been tackling indoor projects, along with editing projects and trying to get some words written on my own story. It’s been tough. I don’t have a lot of git-up-n-go lately. Today, I’ll try to fool my body into believing better days are here by showering (always important) and then getting into a pair of shorts. Maybe I’ll do some light makeup, too. Then I’ll smile at myself in the mirror and repeat some inane aspirational saying, or… Maybe I’ll get out the sage and burn it while I imagine all the dark, lazifying (it’s a word—I just made it up) thoughts fleeing to the corners. Yeah. I like that last idea.

it started well, my health was not good but not too bad so i tried to stay positive until yesterday when someone hurt me with words yes still deeply so i just hope it will get better

6:30. My April has been busy with dentist appointments. Lots of rain and or snow. The flowers are starting to come up and get blooms on them.

April has mostly been hot… we have been hitting mid 80s to high 90s. I been doing little projects around the house… painting a shelf for the plants I have in the kitchen window right now.

April so far is okay. I am eagerly waiting for the warmer weather. I am only getting teases of warmer weather. Yesterday it was sunny and 60’s. Today 40’s and raining.

It’s been hard so far. My family and I are now dealing with some legal problems after my father was unfairly fired from his job. We’re having to deal with new info coming to light everyday about his old managers and its been stressful.

I’m not sure how many flowers will bloom in the snow we have forecast for the first of next wee, but the neighbor’s crocus was lovely last week. Yeah, Michigan can’t decide if it wants to spring yet. Snow one week, rain the next. Sometimes it is even in the same day. It’s play havoc with my sinuses. But on a positive note, I got my new fridge a week ago. So nice to have an efficient appliance. AND, the contractors are finally working on the siding for the house. It may even be done “before snow falls” this year. It was supposed to have been done last year. Not the most efficient contractors but since I rent . . . But, it is getting done. Consequently, my spring flowers are being trampled on. Next year! But, I made it out of bed this morning. Life is good! BTW – loved the puzzle! 4:15 time.

April so far has been shoveling (snow) and building bridges (for when the snow melts & creates the flooded areas and mud so I have to put down boards to traverse from garage to home).

Finished with my radiation treatments on April 1st and I’m almost healed from the burns it caused. I’m now cancer free but I will need one more surgery to get everything the way it’s suppose to be. Always need the gift cards so thank you for the chance.

good morning. April is going well. As a tax accountant, I met the April 18th deadline which is always stressful. 🙂 at home, I am almost finished with my bathroom remodel. my sons have this week off from school so hopefully we can have do some fun things this week. Also, i put away my snow shovel this weekend, so I am expecting snow this week!

My April started great with a trip to Florida to visit my Dad for the first time in 2 years..the pandemic stopped any travels, of course. Got some sun & it felt great. Though when I got home, reality hit. My husband stepped on something while I was gone & he’s diabetic & therefore needed to be seen as he couldn’t walk on his foot. Weather turned chilly again & now they’re saying some snow tonight into tomorrow. Easter was fun though. So…who knows what coming the rest of the month.

My April is going good. Hosted Easter at our house and had 24 people come. My grandson and my Birthday is this month and just today I found 4 baby possums in my back pin, so I have them in the house under a heat lamp and bottle feeding them.
