Squishmallow Day Puzzle! (Contest)
Tuesday, March 7th, 2023

UPDATE: The winner is…Kandi!
*~*~*

The 9-year-old tells me it’s a national holiday! So what if I didn’t find it when I googled.

Maybe I should start with—what are Squishmallows? They are very huggable, plush toys. My granddaughter has been collecting them “forever”—her claim. Whenever someone is stuck for a gift idea, get her a Squishmallow. When she comes for sleepovers with me, she brings at least three of her little friends and uses them for pillows. If you want an idea for how many she has collected, solve the puzzle! No, she’s not the least bit spoiled.

For a chance to win a $5 Amazon gift card, what toys did you collect when you were a kid? For me, it was Barbie clothes for my doll. She had quite the wardrobe—most of them hand-sewn by my mother.

I don’t know why you’re having trouble, Sue. I know it has to be annoying! But I see your comment!

completed puzzle in 4:47. Yay !!!!!

For me: barbies as child and barbie as adult.
Difference is I seek and buy the custom clothing/dresses that I pick up usually at craft fairs and such. So fun to dress up and display my girls.

My Little Pony, Stuffed animals, puppets, Barbie, She-Ra and Jem Dolls. I wanted Transformers, but my parents would not buy them.
My sister gave me a Squishmallow! 🙂

Adorable, I had a few barbies. My collecting habits happened after growing up. Teddy Bears, Sock monkeys, gnomes, snowman, reindeer, coins, stamps, books, rocks, and now grinch.

There was no puzzle, just her cute picture.

I collected Barbie dolls and clothes, and collectible dolls. I had a Barbie from 1966 and three cases of clothes. I would not let my younger cousins play with them which use to irritate them. When my youngest girl cousin reached 10, I was 21 and gave them to her. She proceeded to trade clothes with her friends. She now collects the Barbie Holiday Collections.

Barbies – I’m working on cleaning them (lots of little clothes to wash and a few to be mended) so I can pass them on to my great-nieces.

Wow. She has a lot of them. I really didn’t collect toys as a kid. We were tom boys. Other than books, I collected rocks, baseball cards, flint chips and commies– fired or unfired clay marbles. I still have my books. Seldom ever let them out of my sight (in fact I still know who borrowed books and NEVER returned them!) I still have all my other stuff except my old baseball cards. Go figure. What would be worth the most and they have passed by the wayside.

I don’t know that I collected anything as a kid. I remember playing jacks in school and had a bunch of those. I also had the best dress Barbie in school. I had three Grandmas who made sure of that. Then one of them taught me how to knit so I made more clothes myself. So yeah, I guess you could say I collected Barbie clothes.

I also had quite a collection of Barbies & clothes for them. My Mom also made all my clothes for my dolls.
Because I was the only girl in our family she made me triple the clothes that my friends got because there were 2 girls in that family.
My grandchildren love those squismallows & I look at them every time it’s time to buy them a little something. They are so cute.

TOO CUTE!! Our kids love them too, and our daughter has one that takes up nearly half her bed, LOL!

We honestly didn’t have the money for us to collect much of anything when we were kids…

    Hi,
I had one Barbie doll. I made clothes for her. I don’t remember collecting anything until I grew up. I was 8 yrs old when my baby sister was born. I remover reading books, and at 13 I got a baby thumblina doll, I still have here, she no longer wiggles, my sister broke her.😢
