It’s nearly the end of June, and I’m mourning that—as are the kids who aren’t ready to even think about returning to school at the end of summer. So, maybe my celebration of the month is a little late, but I do love June, so here’s a word search filled with things that popped into my head when I thought about June, like the Roman goddess Juno, for whom the month was named!

    June is such a busy time each year! I’m busy planning for the fall and the holidays. I am juggling people from many states coming to visit and us trying to visit those that can’t get here. I think we’re having Christmas in September this year. Yikes!

    Celebrations pop into my head. We have about 10 birthdays and 3 anniversaries in June, all different dates. So each weekend is a different families house and a huge cake unless it is a milestone birthday or anniversary, those we do separate. What’s another party.

    Officially, June is for my birthday, along with yours and Kathy Bates–all on the same day: June 28th!
    It was also my late cousin, author Deidre Bair’s birthday, on the 21st and HER late SIL, Judy–also in June.
    It is also too hot and too humid.
    But the best thing is the official 6 month countdown to the first day of Winter!!!
