A Question…
Monday, October 10th, 2011

I’m back from my latest trip, and I’m diving into work today. I’ll share pictures of the trip this week, and I’ll put up a poll for the best titles for the The Cowboy anthology you all provided a couple of weeks ago. I have tons to share, but you’ll have to be patient. Deadlines!

Remember that today is the last day to enter the Romaticon Grab Bag #2 contest—gotta post to win!

If you had the ability to compete in any Olympic even,
which one would you choose to enter?

If I had the ability to compete in the olympics I would have to chose a swimming event. I love the water so that would be what I would choose.

Ice skating. I’ve always wanted to know how (and living in Minnesota, I really should know how – I grew up in a small farm town without a lake).

can’t wait to see the pictures. I would have to try and decide from 3 different kinds of Olympic events. For a winter Olympic event it would be Bobsleigh and for a summer Olympic event it would be Equestrian/Dressage or Canoe/Kayak sprint. I would do something dealing with sailing too.

I would love to be able to do any of them. I have never been athletic (or coordinated) so I would get hurt very quickly.

If I could compete it would be in gymnastics or ice skating but alas I have neither the knees or the body for it anymore…lol. I would need a miracle to participate.

I am athletically challenged so it would be tough to pick an event…Maybe something that doesn’t seem as sporty like curling. No running or jumping, sounds good.

I have always thought I would compete in the classics. Like the track, javelin, weight lifting….Of course, I have no athletic ability. So sad.

Love the answers! So many swimmers. I think I’d go for synchronized swimming, although I don’t really think it’s a sport. I imagine me swimming, wearing one of those flowered bathing caps along with other plus-sized, middle-aged team members. We’d be gorgeous.

I would have to say ice skating. I loved ice skating when I was a kid on the pond near our house.
