Tell Me a Story (Contest)
Tuesday, September 2nd, 2025

This picture makes no sense, but I have a task for you.

For a chance to win a $5 Amazon gift card, tell me a story about this picture. Taken any element in the picture, or all of them, and tell me what this picture is about. Have fun with it! Maybe use the fact that books are leading you somewhere (maybe, another world?), and tell me where you’re going.

I look at this and see “Stairway to Heaven”. All of my favorite things are represented. I climb up the book stairs in anticipation of peace, serenity and everlasting comfort – every book bringing me closer, all that weighs heavy on my human self disappearing the closer I get to the top. I hear singing – birds chirping, animals free and welcoming. The butterflies remind me of new birth and beginning where there is no fear, financial stress or responsibility, all I feel is love, wanted and completely fulfilled- free. The light at the end is beckoning me through the trees where I smell things I was too busy working to appreciate on earth. Blessed and thankful infinite home.

Oh my! This book stairway! I love the analogy! These books lead me to other worlds! Currently, I am in Victorian Scotland solving a mystery. I switch off to go to a modern day Vermont Bakery called the Cookie Jar. The owner also likes to solve mysteries. Then there is the Hollywood rom com. Oh the places I can go and the people I meet. Other planets. Aliens. A small town Colorado that I love to visit. Quirky people there that are so fun. And of course those wonderful, hot military guys that started in Montana. Yum!

What a wonderful imagination a child has… unfortunately, this child is magical and brings everything to life!
