A Question for You…and Bookmarks!
Thursday, May 27th, 2010

Here’s another of my questions for you to ponder…

What is one trip you have never taken but would
really like to take some day?

My answer will be in the comments.

Also, I cleared my backlog of contest mailings this week because I have the new bookmarks I ordered. If you’d like bookmarks for yourself, friends, or to drop at your local bookstore, just send me an email with your snail mail address and how many you’d like to have. Here’s what they look like:

There are a ton of places I still want to hit before I die. However, the one thing I’m burning to experience is Alaska in the dead of a dark winter.

A trip you normally would never have gotten me to go on, but enjoyed entirely was going to Costa Rica. We went tree swinging and I saw alot of amazing animals even poisonous frogs ๐Ÿ˜€

How has your writing been going? have you managed to make much progress on TM-1 AMD CL-4?

As you will be beginning your second novel in the future viking series how much planning have you done for it. What mythos have you considered using?

Wesley! Your trip sounds like fun. Will have to add that to my bucket list. I didn’t get a thing written yesterday because I had to travel. But I hope to make progress on both TM-1 and CL-4 today. CL-4’s deadline is next week!

As to the mythology I’m using for the second Viking book, I am still using the Norse myths for belief system for the Vikings, but a mishmash of Mediterranean mythology for their enemies.

Whale watching in Alaska is my first thought. My sister in law and I have been talking about saving to take the trip. Maybe some day I’ll get the chance.

England, Scotland, Ireland are on the top of my list; I was planning to go this fall for my 40th B-day but life has gotten in the way. Oh well, perhaps next year! After Europe, my list of must sees includes Egypt and the Middle East, (if they ever get peaceful over there!), India, China (studied ancient China with the kiddo last year and saw the Terracotta Warriors in Atlanta so really want to go there!), New Zealand: gorgeous scenery: The Lord of The Rings sparked my interest, African Safari, and Alaskan Cruise.
I’d love to sell everything I own and just travel. My nine year old daughter is all for it but for some reason my husband just rolls his eyes, LOL!

Lisa! You’ll take the summer, I’ll take the winter. We have two seasons covered!

Sue! I’ve wanted to spend time in England and Scotland. Only zoomed through England on the way to the ferry to Ireland.

Rachel! Your bucket list sounds as amibitous as mine. And what’s with men, huh? No sense of adventure. Okay, so maybe they are worried about feeding you all…

Right now I’d rather not travel anywhere. But then a month of the longest move ever will do that to a person.

But I’d love to hit Alaska, Egypt, Italy and Sicily. I’d love to chow down on some great Mediterranean food at the moment.

Love the bookmarks too. Sent an email with the new mailing address.

Being married to a disabled guy and being a bit mobility challenged myself any trip would be fun to take but impossible to do.

If I had the money and means I would love to go on a trip around America or Australia though ๐Ÿ˜€

If I ever won the lottery…well then this trip would be possible…otherwise it’s going to remain a fantasy. I would love a lavish trip visiting Australia and New Zealand…staying in posh hotels in the cities and B&Bs’ in the country.

Oh I like Anna’s trip too. Australia and New Zealand would be fantastic. One of my hubby’s teammates went there on his 10 day break from deployment and absolutely loved it.
