2) Yesterday’s winner will be announced tomorrow!
3) **BONUS! See details about Lacy’s contest below!

Welcome today’s guest, Lacy Danes! ~DD

The new fall TV season is upon us. I have eagerly been awaiting several of my favorite series premieres. I typically don’t watch TV but wait until a well talked about show comes out on DVD and then watch the entire season. If I get hooked, then I continue watching until I am caught up to date. Sometimes I start watching a show at its scheduled time, but usually my life takes over and I have to wait until it comes out on DVD the next fall.

Series I currently am watching on DVD:
Mad Men Season 1
The Vampire Diaries Season 1
Charmed Season 3

Series I have completed the DVDs and have to wait until new DVDs come out or watch live:
Bones
The Good Wife

I have also completed several other past series:
The X files
Buffy
Angel

So I am curious, what are some of your favorite shows? And are you optimistic for any new shows coming out this fall?

To celebrate the Fall and the release of so many great stories, including my short Harlequin SPICE Brief DECENT EXPOSURE, at the end of today I will pick one reply to this post for a chance to win one of my books.

Happy Fall,
Lacy

I am looking forward to watching Glee, Grey’s Anatomy and Criminal Minds. I probably won’t get to see very many episodes. But my sister will provide me with a great recap.

NCIS is one of my favorite shows; I’ve watched the season premiere and I still love it this year; another I enjoy is Medium even though I’ve heard this year will be the last, I watched re runs all summer long.

Buffy, Angel, and Farscape are sitting on my shelves. I love those series and re-watch them often.

I have firefly, Tru Calling, and a couple of other one season shows. I wish they had lasted longer. This is one of the reasons I don’t like to watch the first season of a show, it goes away and I want more.

Thanks so much for having me! I am sorry it took me until now to stop by. Busy day at the day job. I probably won’t be back on until the work day ends, but promise to check back in again.

I have heard wonderful things about Fring, Supernatural, and NCIS. Though I have not seen them. I will have to check them out.

I saw a blip about another new show coming out but I can’t remember the name. It was about a family who gets super powers. It looked good.

    Hugs,
    Lacy.

My favorite shows are NCIS, Criminal Minds, Bones and I can’t lie my nieces have me watching Wizards of Waverly Place on Disney. So far none of the new shows have caught my attention yet. I use to love Law and Order Criminal Intent but I don’t enjoy it as much since they got rid of the original people.

Dark Reader, I had not realized there was a new Law and Order out. I love to watch the reruns. Thanks for reading my books.

Sherry S., I think I am going to have to check out NCIS. I have heard so many amazing things. Oh and one of my kids friends totally loves Wizards of Waverly Place. I have only watched it a few times, but it is cute! I too hate when cast changes. It took me awhile to like Cam on Bones. Now I like her.

For some reason the series show I liked to watch last year have changed. I think with the move we had mid-TV season threw us off.

I loved The Glades. Have hopes that Hawaii-5-O will be good and stay around. I’m addicted to the CSIs, all three really. I’m not liking Top Chef Just Desserts.

I’m checking out a lot of new shows really this year. Mike & Molly, Detroit 1-8-7, Blue Bloods, Terriers and The Defenders.

I never became obsessed with a TV show until I fell in love with the Gilmore Girls. Since then, I have flirted quite a bit with the office.

I love Mad Men! Oh, the things I want Don Draper to do to me….

I’ve recently fallen for Castle. Yes, it’s a fairly predictable detective show, but the dialogue is fast-paced and witty. Nathan Fillion isn’t hard on the eyes either. As Rick Castle would tell you – he really is ruggedly handsome. πŸ˜‰

Not a big TV watcher but I never miss stuff like Dr. Who, Torchwood or Sci-fi in general πŸ˜€ Other than that I follow real life programmes like Helicoptor Heroes and Deadliest Catch. Still prefer to have a book in my hand than a TV in front of my eyes πŸ˜€

I watched Firefly on DVD and I really enjoyed it.

Three shows that I got hooked on that just finished their season are Covert Affairs, Rizzoli and Isles, and Royal Pains.

I’m loving the new season of NCIS, Undercovers, Hawaii 5-0, Chase, The Good Wife and Grey’s Anatomy.

Oh my you should see my box set collection it is ridiculous! Basically I have every show I loved in HS and college crazy I know. I used to love and still do Buffy, Angel, Alias, X-Files, 24, Profiler, Nip/tuck, Charmed, The Dead Zone, Smallville, Supernatural, Torchwood, NCIS, NCIS:LA and many more. I’m a huge Bones fan! Loved The Vampire Diaries! This year I’m lovin’ Nikita, Alex O’ Loughlin..umm I mean Hawaii Five-0, and Chase which will probably get canned because its up against Hawaii Five-0. Okay so maybe I’m a little TV obsessed but I promise I do not watch as much as I used to πŸ˜‰
