Mountains! Unless the beach is deserted. I love a good empty beach.

Mountains! I grew up in South Florida, so I had access to the beach every day. The mountains never get old for me.

Mountains. I’m not heat and humidity friendly!!

I love the mountains. Would like a cabin with a wrap around porch so I could sit and enjoy the scenery, wildlife, and peace and quiet. A great place to read.

So hard to choose, I love both. Mountains

I can have both in Maine! 🙂

Mountains. I live in the country. I don’t have the mountains to look at but I have lots of trees and a nice flowing river.

I prefer the beach but I like the mountains also

Mountains for me

Mountains I only live about 30 minutes from some beautiful beaches and it can get to hot on them in summer

Mountains with a vacation at the beach

I need the beach right now. I can drive 2 hours to the mountains but it’s 8-10 to the closest beach.
Comment
Love them both but more of a beach girl.
Comment
Beach. Watching the waves relaxes me.

I pick the beach even though I don’t visit one much and I only live about 2 miles away. Living so close has other benefits that I never realized until I moved here. In the summer we usually get a nice breeze every day. So even when the heat and humidity are bad, the breeze helps make it more tolerable.

Beach–I LOVE watching the water! But honestly, the mountains are gorgeous too, and I wouldn’t complain about either as a getaway!

Mountains all day every day! The solitude. The quietness. The easy way to connect with nature. Hiking and climbing, or simply sitting and being. All the unknown things to explore and discover. *sigh*

Mountains. Colorado living ruined me for the beach.

Beach all day any day!

Beach all the way for me. But I must have a cool umbrella drink and a regular umbrella.

I live in and love the mountains. But beach trips refresh my soul!!
