Your favorite flower? (Contest)

UPDATE: The winner is…Jeanine Lesperance!
*~*~*

Our newly planted roses are budless at the moment, likely due to the stress of the sudden arrival of the hot-as-hell summer we’re experiencing at the moment in Arkansas! I love blooming plants. My favorite is the sunflower. The blooms remind me of the tall fields of sunflowers I used to bicycle past when I was on my way to the Army post where I worked in Germany. I got to see them throughout their life cycle. I also love roses (especially great big cabbage roses), peonies, and hibiscus. This puzzle has me ready to search for this flower to see whether I can order one. It’s lovely!

For a chance to win a $5 Amazon gift card, tell me your favorite flower AND tell me if you have flowers growing inside or outside your house!

I love all flowers but my favorite is the flower of a dogwood tree. I’ve got sunflowers, roses, hibiscus, lily, and crepe mertle growing outside. Inside I have miniature roses and several vines and succulents.

By far, my favorite flower is the yellow rose. Don’t really know why but I love them. Maybe it’s a Texas thing. LOL I also love the gardenia. The smell from those tiny white flowers is amazing. I have one in my yard. Or at least what’s left of it after the blizzard back in February. Thankfully it survived even tho it had to be cut back to almost nothing. Has bloomed once this year but hopefully by next spring it will be back in full force.

My favorite flower is the lilac but it doesn’t grow where I live. I can grow geraniums easily on my patio.

Stargazer Lilies are a favorite. I’ve also always loved the smell of lilacs in late spring. Hibiscus and Birds of Paradise are great too!

4:40 – I do love frangipanis. There are quite a few in the neighbourhood. Amazing scent.

I don’t have an absolute favorite.

I have flowering plants outside – geraniums and freesias this time of year.

My favorite flower? Bet you can guess. It’s the Pansy. Although I do not have live ones, I do have a collection of Pansy motif items all over the house. As of live flowers, inside – a spider plant. (I didn’t know they had flowers until it started blooming.) Otherwise just leafy plants. Outside, right now, the rose bush (Seven Sisters) is starting to bloom. The iris is done, but soon all the various lilies will start blooming.

Lilacs are my favorite but they don’t grow in Florida where I now live. I have no flowers growing inside or outside of my home. Gardening really isn’t my thing. 🙂
