Silver Solders: A Boys Behaving Badly Anthology will release late tonight after midnight, so I thought it might be fun to play a game. I do love puzzles! And this one was so much fun coming up with one word to describe a particular story. Okay, three stories shared the same clue, but that’s okay. I didn’t want you searching forever. No, I want you to be intrigued and decide that Silver Soldiers is a book you can’t ignore.

An interesting list of words for sure. Sarge, a Navy Seal is visiting family back home. He is staying on his houseboat in the bayou. Leave over, a storm hits as he heads out. At the airport, he foils an attempted hold-up. Back on base, he has orders for a new assignment. A diplomat is requesting help. Turns out the diplomat is a werecat and the same person Sarge rescued from the holdup. There is a new drug being manufactured and smuggled from Scotland. The drug is codenamed Purplesparkle because it is manufactured in the Highlands. All attempts to raid the plant have been foiled by the cyborgs they have guarding it.

Purplesparkle? That’s an interesting word to include. Perhaps since Bayou is in the list the story includes a visit to NOLA during Mardi Gras?
