Usually for these “tell me a story” contests, I choose a fantasy/romantic image. This picture tickled my funny bone.  I could only imagine the rotten things she’d had to overcome that day for him to walk into the kitchen and say, “Hey, what’s for dinner?”

    When I saw the picture I saw a man who is abused so I imagined her screaming personal and ugly things in his ear.

    You have been home all day and yet the house is a mess and you have not even started dinner yet. I mean how hard is it to take care of the kids and keep up the housework and cook dinner and have it ready when I get home?

    Hey, I know you’re up to your ears in laundry and the big work presentation to the bosses for tomorrow and the youngest is sick, but I invited the guys over for the game tonight–they’ll be over in about 15 minutes, so you’ll have the food ready and the family room ready before then, yeah? And maybe you want to change out of those frumpy yoga pants while you’re at it.
