July
- I completed two sets of edits and began work on another author’s edits.
- I began reading the Burn entries.
Health-related:
- I underwent two more infusions of Keytruda, this month. I felt fatigued for a couple of days afterward, but no worrisome side effects.
- I restarted the targeted immunotherapy, Lenvima, but dropped to an every other day dosage due to side effects. I’m tolerating the dosage better than the daily. I’m still fatigued, but not quite as much, and the diarrhea has subsided somewhat.
Happiness-related:
- I’m currently visiting my sister for a small vacation!
- I continued my participation in #the100dayproject. I have just one more piece to finish my commitment. Here are a few small pieces I completed in July:

For work-related, I plan:
- To finish reading the Burn submissions and announce the lineup for the next anthology!
- To finish writing Ignition! Again—no excuses! This will complete the Delta Fire series, my erotic firefighter stories. The book will be out by the end of the month!
- To begin work on Built Like Mack, the next story in my We are Dead Horse series.
- To complete working on the edits I have for one author and await the arrival of two other editing projects to start working on.
For health-related, I plan:
- To continue to focus on recovery! Rest when I need to, and some light exercise—housework and swimming (when the pool pump gets repaired!!!).
- To endure another immunotherapy session this month.
For happiness-related, I plan:
- To spend time what little time we have remaining of the summer break with the family. We have plans for more fun meals, movies, flea market shopping, back-to-school shopping, and lots and lots of swimming.
- To complete #the100dayproject and create more art.

I love the colors on the first piece! I gave up a 13 yr friendship. It became toxic and mentally draining. It feel lighter and at peace with my decision.

Beautiful painting, I’m trying hard to quit smoking, and manage pain because I can’t take my celebrex anymore, it caused me to have another ulcer after years of taking it, not sure why all of a sudden I’m having issues

I’m reading for comfort these days so I am rereading a lot of books. I have packed most of my house including all of my books except for 2 authors books that I am rereading until moving day. Moving day is August 21st. I’m not sure if I’ll be handling moving day well. It will be the final day of having my dream property and leaving all the dreams I had for it die. So for the sadness but that is where I am at now.
My new house is what was available in my price point and in the town I want to live in.
Sometimes dreams only come true for short periods in time.

Love your paintings… I have been resting since finishing my treatments… still get tired easily. Also adopted a new pup… she is a handful. Trying to keep her calm after being fixed has been a challenge. She wants to run and play all of the time with our other dog.
