Progress on Stone’s Embrace

I have started on a new WIP, but it’s going slow since I’m having to build a world that’s supposed to be part of a series without knowing the parameters of the other stories. Ah well, I’ll muddle through. Guess I can make my world do anything I want and people it with whatever creatures I want.

Anyway, it’s a new start and I should feel energized by that fact, but I’m just a bit burned out and letting myself get a little frazzled. Happens. Maybe I’ll pull out the new fae research books my new friend Wesley recommended and see what I might be able to come up with.

    *hugs* Burnout sucks.

Maybe give yourself a day or two to do no writing. Don’t let it go on for too long though, or you’ll end up like me. LOL

I spent the morning pulling research down from the Internet for another story I know I want to write soon. Maybe tonight, I’ll take out all my myth books and find the perfect element I need to pull together the current WIP. And you just need inspiration, Sasha. I know you have many more stories in you.

    Burn out is never fun.

I can’t imagine writing not knowing the parameters of a world I’m supposed to be writing. I say have fun with it, if you can, or just enjoy your research until you have more information.

    Good Luck!

Burnout – stress – whatever you call it – takes its physical toll. Treat yourself to a day at the spa – deep tissue massage can work wonders in letting it go & rejunvenating yourself!

    Karin!
    Wise words, indeed!

    Sonya!
Wish I could. The last time I went to the spa was at a haunted hotel in Hot Springs, The Velda Rose. Of course, I kept hoping for “sign.”
