Saturday Puzzle-Contest: Why is she leaving…?
Saturday, February 25th, 2023

UPDATE: The winner is…Sara DoMoe!
*~*~*

It’s Saturday! I’m taking a break from work today to head to the flea market with the girls (my daughter and two granddaughters). We love our “treasure hunts.”

While I’m flitting about, I have a puzzle for you!

For a chance to win a $5 Amazon gift card, solve the puzzle, then tell me why she is leaving. Have fun!

Also, take a peek at yesterday’s art challenge! I know, I know, I shouldn’t share these every day, but I’m having so much fun!

My latest #the100dayproject…

    Love this puzzle!
Things aren’t good and she’s leaving to find safety. She will also start a new life somewhere safe, adventurous and love hopefully.

I miss going to yard sales and flea markets. I don’t drive, so since my mom died in 2009, if something is not on the bus line, I don’t really go. Plus, currently needing a walker is an annoyance and doesn’t really leave the hands free.
As for why our rider is racing away–considering the crazy current weather, she is out running a blizzard.
We did that once. Not a blizzard but a horrible storm. We were shopping and a storm was coming. Had we returned home on OUR side of the river, we would have been home before the storm struck. No, we were on the OTHER side of the river and the bridge was beyond our house. We watched the black clouds moving fast in the rear window. We reached the bridge, crossed the river, then turned into the oncoming storm. It won. We were drenched by the time we got into our house.

She got tired of hearing him putting her down and saying her food that she cooks tastes like last weeks leftovers.
I love your painting. I don’t go to any flea markets or yard sales.

I really like your painting. I use to really like yard sales and flea markets. I can’t do them anymore. My health doesn’t allow for a lot of standing and I too use a walker. Walkers make a big difference in what you can and can’t do. As far as the picture. She is running away from her guards. She does not want to marry the man her Dad has arranged. She is in love with a commoner.

I haven’t been to a flea market in years – such fun to see what’s foe sale.
She’s leaving home after getting a message from her sister – her parents don’t want her to go, but she’s a stubborn and adventurous minx.

I love flea markets and garage sales. Took my sister’s two youngest for years. Now if I drive by one and have cash I’ll stop.
She is fleeing to what she hopes is safety before she losses her heart.
