I’ve gone all Apple, almost… (Contest)

UPDATE: The winner is…Cindy!
*~*~*

So, day before yesterday, my dd and I went phone shopping. Mine and hers were several years old and beginning to glitch. Her phone case was cracked. Our top priority was picture quality because we use photos for everything—TikTok, FB, Pinterest, Etsy, etc. Although it was #2 for picture quality, all the other features of the phone were tops, so we purchased Apple phones. Good Lord, the price! Mine’s blue—just like the picture!

And of course, I was also looking for a new watch. All of my Citizen Eco-Drive watches (all four!) are kaput. So…

So, yeah, phone is in hand, an Apple watch is in the mail… Add that to my Mac Air, and I’m a convert. However, my main computer remains a hyped-up HP (it’s a gaming computer with super speed and storage, which I need). I don’t actually play games on it.

I didn’t port over my contacts or files to the new phone. I figured it was a great way to clean everything out. I spent a damn day adding apps, redoing passwords—because I couldn’t remember passwords. The 16-year-old is an old pro with iPhones, so she helped me figure out how to do “stuff”. I’m a slow learner, she says. 🙂

So, the question for you is, are you an Apple girl/boy? Is there some feature you love? Or just tell me what you love about your current phone/tech for a chance to win a $5 Amazon gift card!

I got an iPhone seven years ago and my first MacBook four years ago. I don’t see myself ever going back! Two years ago we got an iPad when my Nook gave up and my FitBit is on the fritz so I have been eyeing Apple watches. I am really satisfied with the quality and longevity of Apple products. The price is a little salty sometimes!

Nope. I’m all Apple in computers only. With phones I’m Android all the way.

The only Apple product I own is an iPod from about 10 years ago. The only reason I would get an Apple phone is that I have so many family members that have Apple phones cheap through their jobs.

I use to be apple everything….. But then Samsung outstripped them…. Apple has its place and Apple is great for those who want an intuitive simpler system, but for me I found it didn’t have the versatility that I like when i customise my phone for me. As fir what I love on my current s20 ultra is the camera and fact that it has so many was to personalise it.

I went from having a flip phone up until 2014 to an iPhone when my contract came up for renewal. I’ve had an iPhone ever since. I’ve never tried any of the other type of phones so I can only say that I love my iPhone. Although my desktop and laptop computers are all HP. I always back until my phone on my iTunes app on the desktop computer. Which also allows me to save all pictures from my phone. I then back up my desktop on to a separate storage drive.

I am not a big Apple fan. Every time I try to do something and it askes for password, I have to change it.

I got my first iPhone just before I retired in 2012. I had a smart phone (Blackberry) for work so I knew that I’d no longer be satisfied with my flip phone after retirement. I’m on my 4th iPhone now having purchased the 12 Pro Max back in December. I still don’t know how to do everything with it LOL. I know it’s more than I need but I decided to treat myself anyway. My old eyes appreciate the larger screen. :😀

I’ve not switched to Apple computers as I was an IT person using Windows and I just can’t make myself change. Like you I purchased a gaming computer even though I don’t use it for games. I wanted all of the power of the I-7 processor and a dedicated graphics card.

I switched to an iPhone when I made the leap from a flip phone and have loved it since 🙂 I enjoy the ease of use, even if I do occasionally need to tap one of my kids to show me how something works, LOL!
