UPDATE: The winner of the gift certificate is…Charlene Whitehouse!
*~*~*

I bought this brainstorming tool years ago at some writers’ conference I attended. You roll the dice then use the pictures on the faces of each piece to make up a story. I’ve found it’s fun for readers, too!

To make this game more fun, I’ll offer a prize—a $5 Amazon gift card—good for purchasing one or two stories…

Have fun with this! The story doesn’t have to be long or even good! Here’s the roll…

Carter Grant is a exploration explorer from Vermont who decided to travel overseas to try to find a undiscovered land. As he is traveling in the ocean he has a octopus and whales attack the ship he is on which damages the boat and they have to find land to fix the repairs. Adrift for weeks he encounters furious storms and no clean water to drink. He finally finds himself on a deserted island with venomous snakes. Taking photographs as he goes he discovers unknown animals and other people who have had no encounters with other humans. He builds his home in a tree while there waiting for his ship to be repaired. He meets one of the native women and falls in love. He then Decides to stay and live there leaving his family at home wondering what happened to him. They send out a rescue party to try and find him. I’m sure you have heard this story a few times before but I think it can be changed to include other scenarios as needed. That’s what I get from the dice. Lol

The man came down out of the mountains, searching for a way home. He knew he was not going to make it when he tripped over the ladder. He dragged himself to a shoreline where a boat was. As he got in, it started raining, causing the sun to go. He started to hallucinate as the boat was captained by an octopus and a snake was first mate. There was nothing left to do but take pictures for proof.
