Saturday Puzzle-Contest: It’s beginning to look a lot like…Halloween!
Saturday, October 14th, 2023

UPDATE: The winner is…Mary Ann Dean!
*~*~*

I’ll be at the Arts Festival again today, all day, but once this weekend is over, my family and I will be gearing up for Halloween! We try to make every holiday an event! For Halloween, we start watching spooky movies on the weekends (Family Movie Night includes, fun snacks, a darkened room, and the big TV), and of course, we have to nail down the kids’ costumes.

For a chance to win a $5 Amazon gift card, solve the puzzle, then tell me what you do to get ready or in the mood for Halloween!

I’m all about watching the scary movies. And preparing the kids goodie bags for school. That’s my favorite thing to do!

Once upon a time, my daughter and I would decorate the house and plan costumes. One year we had a headless scarecrow sitting at the table on the front porch. That was fun. Then there was the year I hosted a Halloween party and my sister joined us to be the three witches. These days, well, it’s mostly just another day. But I do plan to watch Hocus Pocus and maybe Halloween town. I don’t care for the really scary movies.

I do a little bit of decorating. I’m not a big fan of Halloween movies so I never watch those. And, I’ll buy some candy or other treats for trick or treaters, but I really only get my grandkids. Where we are, all the kids have grown up & moved on.

I live out in the middle of nowhere so decorating would be for nothing. So i don’t really do anything for Halloween.

Watch Hocus Pocus, and remember my daughter deface when I created a kid fun haunted house inside the front of my house when she was little.

Use to decorate my work place since I was there more than home. But as I now work remote, I decorate a little at home but not as much as I use to at work. As just me at home, not really big reason to decorate as I am also the one to remove it. I will watch Hocus Pocus and like Oxygen Channel Home for the Holidays which has murder mysteries that are done on holidays.

I’m not into Halloween that much. Our mobile home park has a party but I won’t be able to make it this year because of my broken leg. I don’t really mind, though, because I get to spend my evening reading instead! 😊

I love the decorating and picking out just the right candy because I get so excited to see all of the kids having so much fun.

I don’t typically do too much, but do check to make sure we have some candy. This fall I’m working at a school, so I think I’m going to have to dress up for work, LOL…

My little one is all grownup, so I just delve into a scary book, buy candy and wait to see all the cute costumes that come to my door.

Halloween is my favorite holiday! I usually decorate with pumpkins, lights, and spiderwebs!
