I apologize I haven’t read any of these, but in that area of the country, there are a lot of fossils and historical native American sites. He could be an amateur archaeologist or he encounters a female archaeologist/anthropologist working legally or illegally in the area. Who knows what could happen.

I can’t wait to meet these new bounty hunters….and, Cyrus is pretty darn nice. Maybe he’d have to look for someone hiding out in the wilderness & comes across a lost soul who was studying the wildlife but instead was taken by his bounty, escaped & couldn’t find a way out. Of course, it would be a female that interests him. And, he’d also catch his skip!! I’m just not good with coming up with these stories as you are.

Of course I’ve been following the series from the word GO. I think it could be a case of mistaken identity. He’s on the hunt for a skip that’s stolen the payroll from her job, only it isn’t her but a doppelgänger? That’s all I got. Hope it helps

I love the hunter books and you are always so creative. I’ve been wondering about the families of the hunters like mothers and sisters and crazy grandmothers. Maybe a hunter could have a meddling grandma who knows just the perfect person to hook up with the hunter. And it was grandma that taught the hunter to shoot in the first place. Maybe grandma even runs a local gun range.

I think being stuck in a cave in would make for lots of happenings.

Maybe she’s a park ranger, and Chase runs into her whole head trying to catch a skip that’s hiding in the park.
Or she’s a Hot Shot and the skip is a firebug that escaped by setting a fire. Her crew is called in to fight the fire and she meets Chase while he’s trying to find the guy.

How about Cyrus gets saved from a skunk attack by his future woman but in doing so they both get sprayed and have to help each other get rid of the smell! Now that would be funny… I can see her bragging about saving him and then turning around and getting sprayed and then him laughing and getting it to… then they think the skunk family turns around and is laughing at them
