The butcher, the baker, the candlestickmaker…
Monday, December 6th, 2010

Can’t you already guess what I’m talking about? Sexy professions! And none of those do it for me, personally.

Short and sweet.

What professions, beyond the obvious (cop, fireman, cowboy),
do you find sexy and why?

Remember, I’m not asking strictly to fill a blog today. You might see your sexiest profession in a book coming soon!

Reminder: Two Contests continue!
1) Give me ideas for the next chapter of Bad Moon Rising. See details here.
2) If you post a review for Breaking Leather on Amazon, Barnes & Noble or the MBaM sites, and send me the link, you’re entered! Prize: $25.00 Amazon or B&N gift certificate.

Mechanic does it for me. Must be because I know quite a few mechanics.

Also, you can’t beat a bricklayer (mason) or construction worker on a nice hot summer day!

College professors are a classic one for me 🙂 I know, I know cliché and all that but there is something about them…

Now see baker may not do it but a Chef would. Like the guy who just won The Next Iron Chef, Marc Forgione or Texas Chef Bryan Caswell. I’m a sucker for a guy who can cook. It means I don’t have to. 😀

Or how about a metal worker. Arms and body of steel forging steel. The sweat rolling down his tightly packed body.

Lisa! I like men who are good with their hands too! Nice choices.

Rasha! Maybe it’s because you hope they know something you don’t and they’ll surprise you!

Valerie! Handman, yeah, you and Lisa! Will have to think about a handyman story.

Brandy! I had a man who could cook. Meh. I could go for a man of steel though!

I have just spent the past 7 months watching construction workers outside my office redoing the street and sidewalks.
All I can say is OMG!!!! The muscle shirts, piercings, tats, the list is endless. Very hard to get any work done!!!

Stephanie! Whew! Like the old Coke commercial? Don’t know if I could have written a word with a drool-covered keyboard. 🙂

I think race car drivers and football players are really hot. There’s just something about both that I really love.

Sherry! I’m going to go watch a Monster Car rally next month, hoping for ideas. Does that count?

Construction guys are always sexy. And a man who knows his way around the kitchen–chef or baker. That’s pretty sexy as well.
