UPDATE: The winner is…Terra Oenning!
It’s Punxsutawney Phil’s big day! Will he see his shadow and “predict” another six weeks of winter weather? Or will he not, and usher in an early Spring? Either way, I am ready for the cold weather to GO—I say that as the weathermen have predicted a very cold and icy next few days here in Arkansas.
If I have time, I’ll watch one of my very favorite movies—Groundhog Day! Enjoy this scene where he first figures out the day has repeated…
“Do you ever have déjà vu, Mrs. Lancaster?”
“I don’t know, but I can check with the kitchen.”
I don’t know why that cracks me up every time!
So, question for you…for a chance for you to win a download of one of my backlist stories…
If Punxsutawney Phil predicts another six weeks of winter, what movies will you watch while sipping your hot cocoa?
- Michal Scott: Thwarting the Danger of A Single Story — Maggie Lena Walker (Contest & Excerpt) — These ends soon! Win an Amazon gift card!
- Your favorite fairytale…? (Puzzle-Contest) — Win an Amazon gift card!
- January into February… (Contest) — Win an Amazon gift card!
- Flashback: Baby, It’s You (Contest — 3 Winners!) — Win a FREE book! 3 Winners!
Thank you for the chance and it’s 6 more weeks of winter. I’m really not a movie fan I’m going to be reading or listening to audiobooks to get caught on the list lol
Happy Groundhog Day ❤
I don’t watch movies like that. I
Love alone so I read and use what ever is on tv as background noise.
Heartwarming ones like The Bishop’s Wife and The Best Years of Our Lives, belly laugh ones like It’s A Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World, favorite musicals like Brigadoon and documentaries like Every Little Step.
Probably won’t be watching movies…I’m right now bingeing on Miami Vice, so I’ll continue to watch Sonny Crockett (Don Johnson) and that’ll take my mind off his prediction of more cold. I am also so ready for the cold to go away. Thanks for the chance here.
I have been watching a bunch of TV series, movies and anime… I will continue to do so, LOL. 😀
None. I will read, craft, and do classwork. And cook. I love cooking.
I’m not much of a movie person, I mostly read and listen to audio books or music. But when I am in the mood to watch movies, its usually any of the Harry Potter movies, Scream, Pirates of the Caribbean, or any other action movie, especially Elysium(a favorite of both my father and I).
I am thinking James Bond
My DS and I watch movies in the evenings, binge watch series. I got him into sci-fi and fantasy, so it is good to rewatch many series with him, he got me into anime. Between the two of us, there is a lot to choose from. Next is the ‘The Book of Boba Fett’.
The winner, of her choice of a book from among my backlist of books, is…Terra Oenning!
