It’s Punxsutawney Phil’s big day! Will he see his shadow and “predict” another six weeks of winter weather? Or will he not, and usher in an early Spring? Either way, I am ready for the cold weather to GO—I say that as the weathermen have predicted a very cold and icy next few days here in Arkansas.
If I have time, I’ll watch one of my very favorite movies—Groundhog Day! Enjoy this scene where he first figures out the day has repeated…
“Do you ever have déjà vu, Mrs. Lancaster?”
“I don’t know, but I can check with the kitchen.”
I don’t know why that cracks me up every time!

Heartwarming ones like The Bishop’s Wife and The Best Years of Our Lives, belly laugh ones like It’s A Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World, favorite musicals like Brigadoon and documentaries like Every Little Step.

Probably won’t be watching movies…I’m right now bingeing on Miami Vice, so I’ll continue to watch Sonny Crockett (Don Johnson) and that’ll take my mind off his prediction of more cold. I am also so ready for the cold to go away. Thanks for the chance here.

I’m not much of a movie person, I mostly read and listen to audio books or music. But when I am in the mood to watch movies, its usually any of the Harry Potter movies, Scream, Pirates of the Caribbean, or any other action movie, especially Elysium(a favorite of both my father and I).

My DS and I watch movies in the evenings, binge watch series. I got him into sci-fi and fantasy, so it is good to rewatch many series with him, he got me into anime. Between the two of us, there is a lot to choose from. Next is the ‘The Book of Boba Fett’.
