So, I’ve been writing for some time now—since January 2000, actually. My sister, Elle James, and I made a New Millennium resolution that we were going to become writers. I’d say we kicked that New Year’s resolution’s ass.
I published my first book with Ellora’s Cave. Remember them? They were publishing erotic romance when traditional publishers wouldn’t. When they went out of business, I moved to Samhain. There, I wrote a series of BDSM books. The series title was Delta Heat, about a group of Memphis PD cops who were very…sharing. They are erotic romances. After Samhain closed its doors, I published the series through Entangled. Now, I have the rights back. I’ll be revising them and republishing them very, very soon. Here’s the cover for the first story.

When I got my first NOOK read a lot of erotic books eventually moved on to my hunky seals, deltas and other sexy heroes. But occasionally I will find and read the spicer ones. So I would say I tend to live my sexy hunks more than the erotic. But as I said not above not reading it.

I like spice lots of spice! It does depend on my mood some days but for the most part I won’t turn down a spicey book. 😁

I still have that series from back in the Samhain days. 😀
And I read whatever strikes my mood at the time but it has to have some story to it. If all it is a sex fest then I’m not interested. I have actually given a couple of one and two star reviews over the years when I have ran into books like that since they are a waste of time and money for me.

I read a lot of erotica when Ellora’s Cave was still up and I still read erotica but am reading more sexy/spicy now. It takes me longer to read books so sometimes I want more story vs hotness.
