Word Search: Things to do with kids during the holidays… (Contest)

UPDATE: The winner is…Beverly!
*~*~*

The holiday is approaching! It’s not just The Day I’m thinking about. The kids will be out of school next week, and we have to think about how to fill that time with memories.

We’ve got a few plans. A family bonfire is always fun. Movie nights, too. But how else will we fill all that time? I started a list.

For a chance to win a $5 Amazon gift card, solve the puzzle, then add some things to the list of things to do! And tell me, did you enjoy the puzzle?

Christmas decorations, yes! And maybe some beaded bracelets with the girls choosing their own stones. No doubt there will be painting, too.

A beautiful list. I love how y’all work so hard for family time. So many people are glued to their cell phones that they forget about family time! We used to play cards and board games when I was young, back in the dark ages. ;D We also watched the parade and ewed and ahed about the floats. It is so different now. Then there was the football games. Not all of us watched, usually we were all in the same room doing something. Fond memories.

I love these puzzles. Next week I’ll be decorating and maybe some baking with my grandkids. Though since one is only 3, not sure of the help I’ll get there. He’ll probably do more watching the tv.

I’d add reading to the list. 🥰 I worked this puzzle in record time. Not sure how that happened but it took me less than a minute.

Many of those things are already in my list, but one thing we live doing is going around town and handing out blankets, meals and winter clothing to the less fortunate. Then making atole and eating some sweet bread before selling down to watch a bunch of movies.

Your list is really good! I’m going to suggest a weird one. Cleaning. Hear me out! You want your space to look good while everyone is hanging out so it’s one of those times you can’t avoid cleaning so your house is going to be looking good. I don’t love the activity but I love the result.
