This is a sci-fi movie. It is just after dawn on the Johnson farm. The cows are out to pasture. The older kids are feeding the other livestock. The youngest is gathering eggs. Mrs Johnson is in the kitchen making breakfast. Mr Johnson just parked his truck. There is a buzzing sound overhead. It is getting louder. All the kids return to the front yard, Mrs Johnson emerges, and Mr Johnson joins them. They all look up as the noise gets still louder. Suddenly aircraft buzz by in the sky. There is a bright light and everything is immersed in a bright hot cloud any everything is gone.

… and then a shaft of light shot from the sky and the cows disappeared!

Horror. The cows are hungry. They have been outside all night. They just realized that something is wrong. The house and all the people are gone. There is a sizeable crater. The ground feels off. The other animals and crops are also missing.

When the sun goes down this peaceful field will no longer be so… the cows sense a danger nearby and become frantic… what is this danger that they sense…

Fed up with their usual morning drudgery, the herd decided they weren’t going to show up at the milking barn. Gathering at the watering trough, they make plans instead to hie off to the far field, as Jessalyn had figured out how to unlatch the gates. “Hope we’ll get some good grazing in before the Browns cotton to where we got off to!” declares Maybelle.

Sci-fi! The next scene is the disemboweled animals in the middle of the field. But is it aliens, a wild animal, a human? The rancher is angry but then the aliens return!

After drinking the water blood starts coming out of the cows mouths, noses and eyes. Their lips curls up, they start snorting and they start running around the pin attacking everything insight. They make it to the farm house and rip everyone inside to pieces and eat them.

LOL! So many great ideas. I was imagining a horror movie where the farmer’s sweet cows eyes begin to drip blood and they chew him to pieces. But that’s just me.
